Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Location: East Hartford, CT (On-site)
Responsibilities:
- Act as the initial point of contact for inquiries regarding application status and program requirements.
- Accurately document all consumer interactions and research inquiries to provide complete information.
- Balance high-volume inbound calls with the analytical processing of eligibility documentation and denial letters.
- Navigate multiple proprietary applications and third-party forms with ease and zero errors.
- Maintain technical proficiency in program policies to ensure objective and accurate service.
- Meet daily productivity and quality standards while providing calm conflict resolution for customers.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in a call center or client-facing support environment.
- Associate’s degree or higher preferred.
- Typing proficiency of at least 40 WPM with high data accuracy.
- strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain self-control and empathy in stressful or difficult situations.
- Experience with social service programs (SNAP, TANF, WIC) is a plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and standard telephone systems.
