Responsibilities
Are you a compassionate professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are looking for empathetic problem solvers to join our team in East Hartford. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for individuals applying for and receiving social service benefits. You will help make a real difference by providing clear, accurate information and resolving complex inquiries with patience and care.
What you will do each day:
- Answer high-volume inbound calls regarding social service programs while maintaining high quality standards.
- Document all interactions accurately and navigate multiple software applications with ease.
- Provide objective, complete, and accurate information based on program requirements.
- Utilize calm conflict resolution skills to assist callers in difficult situations with genuine empathy
- Meet daily performance metrics for call volume and service excellence.
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) and 6 months of call center experience.
- An Associate’s degree or higher can substitute for the 6 months of experience.
- Typing proficiency of at least 30 WPM.
- Exceptional attendance, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to convey complex information in clear and concise terms.
- Pay Rate: $21 per hour.
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM (Weekends OFF!).
- Location: On-site in East Hartford, CT.
- Comprehensive training provided in a supportive work environment.
