Responsibilities
- Accurately review, verify, and enter vendor invoices, process outgoing payments, and prepare customer billing and collections.
- Post daily financial transactions, update the general ledger, and ensure all digital and physical accounting logs are organized and compliant.
- Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and expense reports against internal records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide administrative support during period-end closings, including preparing spreadsheets, gathering documentation, and running basic financial reports.
- Act as a point of contact for vendors and internal departments to investigate and resolve payment variances or invoice inquiries.
- Maintain an organized audit trail and assist the senior accounting team in compiling financial records for internal or external audits.
