Responsibilities
Position Summary: Support specialty pharmaceutical programs by managing patient onboarding and qualification processes. This role handles high-volume patient intake, investigates coverage inquiries, and guides accounts from initial contact through to final determination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound and outbound calls from patients and healthcare providers, striving for one-call resolution.
- Process new patient applicants, create accurate referrals, and manage accounts through the approval or denial process.
- Document detailed consumer profile information inside proprietary tracking software while actively conversing on the phone.
- Investigate patient or physician inquiries and place follow-up calls to communicate file updates.
- Deliver empathetic customer support while maintaining conversational control to provide clear educational strategies to callers.
- Ensure absolute compliance by identifying and reporting adverse health events within required regulatory timeframes.
- Full fluency in both written and spoken Spanish and English is strictly required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a related professional field is preferred.
- Robust computer literacy skills, including swift data entry and complete proficiency with MS Office applications.
