Randstad is partnering with a world-renowned design and development firm in Las Vegas to find a sharp, thick-skinned, and highly analytical Senior Accounts Payable Specialist.
This isn't your standard, repetitive data-entry role. Our client operates a massive, dynamic global portfolio across the US, Asia, and the Middle East. Because of this massive scale, their Finance team is needing someone who can proactively solve puzzles, untangle multi-currency transactions, and keep a multi-million-dollar machine moving smoothly.
If you thrive on a low-drama, fast-moving team where your manager values direct communication, this is your next home.
What Our Client is Looking For:
- 5+ Years of Solid AP Experience: You've mastered the nuances of high-intensity, deadline-driven environments.
- The "Unicorn" Skill Set (Preferred): Prior experience handling consultant contracts, subcontractor billing (AIA formats), and managing lien releases/waivers. (Construction/real estate experience is a massive plus!)
- Analytical Excel Skills: Comfortable building templates, working with basic conditional formatting, and looking at pivot table data with an investigative eye.
- Problem-Solving Communication: We are explicitly not looking for a "yes-person". We need someone who speaks up when they don't understand, flags issues early, and comes to the table with solutions.

- System & Currency Troubleshooting: Navigate multiple integrated accounting platforms to isolate workflow inefficiencies and flag system errors for senior leadership. Calculate and execute foreign currency transactions to reconcile cross-border rate fluctuations for global project operations.
- Team Support & Project Flow: Partner with the Contract team to flag when consultant billables require change orders to complete an SOW. Actively assist and mentor AP Specialists, manage shared email inboxes, and provide workload updates during required team check-ins at 10 AM, 12 PM, and 3 PM.
