Responsibilities
Position Summary: Oversee the data integrity of admissions, discharges, transfers, and insurance authorizations across live CEAT service lines. Drive operational alignment and revenue cycle accuracy by maintaining accurate authorization records and facilitating prompt issue resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage pending/new admissions and verify commercial and government insurance eligibility.
- Maintain accurate authorization documentation and update room and board agreements.
- Review weekly Revenue Cycle Reports, assign daily priorities, and delegate workflow tasks.
- Facilitate root-cause analysis for authorization issues and present solutions to leadership.
- Manage team coverage, PTO calendars, and review CEAT process playbooks for accuracy.
- Train new team members on internal systems and present topics at monthly team meetings.
- High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework or relevant work experience preferred.
- Knowledge of government and commercial payer requirements.
- strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, time management, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Proven critical thinking abilities with high attention to detail and accuracy.
