About the Firm This firm is a reputable law firm specializing in Workers' Compensation Litigation. They are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team, providing crucial operational support to our paralegals and attorneys.
Position Summary This position provides entry-to-mid-level administrative and legal support across daily office operations. You will serve as a key point of contact for client communications, manage case files, assist paralegals, and coordinate medical appointments.
Key Responsibilities
- Administrative Support: Answer and direct incoming phone calls, route communications, and manage digital mail scanning and distribution.
- Case & Document Management: Generate and process survey reports, update digital case files, and organize records within our case management system.
- Paralegal Assistance: Provide direct administrative support to paralegals and legal teams on active Workers' Compensation litigation files.
- Client & Medical Scheduling: Coordinate medical appointments, send timely client reminders, and maintain accurate scheduling logs.
- Experience: Prior administrative or legal assistant experience in a law firm setting (Workers' Compensation experience is a plus).
- Education/Certifications: Paralegal Certificate is preferred, but equivalent relevant office experience will be considered.
- Software Proficiency:
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, Calendar).
- Experience with MerusCase (or similar legal case management software) is highly preferred.

- Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced legal environment.
- Availability: Ready to start immediately.
