Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Support the Sales & Account Management team by serving as an Open Enrollment Specialist. Educate employers, brokers, and members on health plan offerings at various benefit fairs, wellness events, and enrollment meetings across assigned locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend assigned benefit/health fairs, wellness events, and open enrollment meetings to educate prospective and existing members.
- Engage professionally with employers, brokers, and individuals to present plan options and answer questions clearly.
- Manage enrollment material pickup and drop-off at assigned health plan sites.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
- Experience in health plan open enrollment, benefits, sales, or member education.
- Solid understanding of the health insurance industry and benefit plan structures.
- strong HIPAA compliance and customer confidentiality awareness.
- Ability to travel locally to assigned sites, health fairs, and event locations.
- Flexibility to work intermittent, on-call hours based on meeting volume.
- Preferred: Prior sales experience in a health plan or insurance environment.
