Responsibilities
- Personnel Management: Scheduled and managed count room personnel to guarantee optimal staffing levels and uninterrupted drop and soft count operations.
- Training & Compliance: Trained, evaluated, and monitored team members on strict handling procedures and regulatory internal controls to maintain maximum security.
- Hands-on Operations: Actively participated in the soft count process when needed to eliminate bottlenecks and optimize workflow efficiency.
- Security Coordination: Partnered with Surveillance and Security teams to ensure strict protocols were followed during count room openings and closings.
- Key Control: Managed the secure tracking, issuance, and return of sensitive count room and drop box keys.
- Access Control: Enforced Minimum Internal Control Standards (MICS) by strictly monitoring room access and maintaining required minimum staffing levels at all times.
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconciled soft count totals and financial reports against computerized system records and physical drop box documentation.
