- 3–7 years of low-voltage or electrical construction experience preferred
- Prior background in a coordination, lead, or supervisory role is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, technical drawings, and contract documents.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with project management software is a plus.
- strong multitasking, organizational, and technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of field experience) preferred; equivalent field experience considered.

Responsibilities
The Assistant Project Manager (APM) directly supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing multi-family construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Serving as a crucial liaison between field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients, you will gain hands-on operational leadership while ensuring projects meet safety, budget, schedule, and quality standards.
- Project Execution: Support the full project lifecycle, facilitating submittals, RFIs, change orders, testing, and closeout documentation.
- Operations Support: Coordinate project timelines, materials, equipment, and manpower requirements to maintain field momentum.
- Financial Oversight: Assist with cost tracking, budget updates, forecasting, and early identification of potential risk or overruns.
- Vendor & Field Liaison: Liaise with vendors for timely deliveries, participate in progress meetings, and handle day-to-day client communications.
- Compliance & Quality: Interpret plans, blueprints, and specifications to ensure worksite adherence to safety standards, electrical codes, and project requirements.
