In this key on-site position in East Hartford, CT, you will report to a Transaction Processing Supervisor and oversee critical healthcare transactions. Working standard daytime hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM), you will evaluate and determine the eligibility of medical expenses, research consumer records across multiple databases, and accurately process case maintenance updates following strict procedural guidelines. You will also enter data into the Eligibility Determination System, communicate directly with clients via phone or written correspondence, and ensure all quality standards are met with zero errors. If you bring strong typing skills (minimum 40 WPM), sharp problem-solving capabilities, and a commitment to precision under tight deadlines, this contract position offers an engaging platform to showcase your expertise.

Responsibilities
Position Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and determine medical expense eligibility for specialized healthcare programs.
- Process case maintenance transactions and enter consumer information accurately into the Eligibility Determination System.
- Research, analyze, and update consumer records across multiple computer systems.
- Communicate effectively with clients and consumers through verbal or written correspondence.
- Consistently meet or exceed daily production rates and Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) accuracy standards.
- Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM required.
- Proven proficiency navigating PC software applications and data entry systems.
- strong organizational, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills in a high-volume setting.
- Ability to work at a sustained pace under limited direction following initial training.
- Full availability to work on-site in East Hartford, CT.
- Preferred: College degree and prior experience in transaction processing or eligibility determination.
