Are you an experienced, high-volume Accounts Receivable Analyst who thrives in complex, multi-layered enterprise environments? We are seeking an action-oriented, highly analytical financial professional to join our team for an urgent 4-to-6-month contract engagement.

Backed by a leading Private Equity firm, our business is currently scaling rapidly from a 2-plant footprint to a multi-national operation. In this role, you will work directly alongside our dynamic Controller—a seasoned financial leader with a background at iconic, Fortune 500 enterprise companies. You will tackle complex billing, high-volume cash application, commercial credit management, and key month-end accounting reconciliations. If you bring an entrepreneurial spirit, crave process evolution, and love digging into high-complexity systems and advanced Excel models, this high-impact role is built for you.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Accounts Receivable & Cash Application

• High-Volume Invoicing: Generate and issue accurate, high-volume commercial customer invoices in a timely manner utilizing specialized ERP billing software (Radius).
  
  
• Cash Posting & Application: Process, record, and post daily incoming customer payments (ACH, wires, checks) using Great Plains, resolving complex short-pays and discrepancies.
  
  
• Commercial Collections: Proactively communicate via phone and email with enterprise commercial accounts regarding past-due balances and payment statuses.
  
  
• Credit Hold Management: Oversee the credit hold workflow, conducting risk checks, evaluating limits, and communicating directly with customer service to release orders as holds clear.
  
  
• Portfolio Maintenance: Maintain accurate customer records, update credit limits, perform credit checks, and reconcile client accounts.
  
  

General Accounting & AP Support (Secondary focus)

• Month-End Close: Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet schedules for AR, AP, accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets.
  
  
• Audit & Tax Readiness: Support external auditors and tax preparers with schedule documentation and inquiry responses.
  
  
• Process Enhancement: Identify operational bottlenecks and implement efficiency enhancements as our operational structure expands globally.
