Responsibilities
The Director of Central Operations is responsible for the execution, financial profitability, statutory compliance,
and scalable growth of the company's centralized business units. Reporting directly to the SVP of Central
Operations, this individual provides unified command over core operational pillars: Portfolio Management, Field
Services, Maintenance, and Vendor Relations. As the leader of the management department, the Director holds
primary accountability for achieving target churn rates, the department's most critical metric, while continuously
improving customer satisfaction as measured by Net Promoter Score (NPS) and related customer experience
metrics.
The Director serves as the organizational guardian of the asset lifecycle, ensuring investor portfolios are optimized,
maintenance margins remain profitable, and all transactional move-out procedures are executed in accordance with
the law. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with real estate compliance expertise and an analytical
approach to leading both onsite and remote teams focused on continuously improving productivity (i.e., increasing
the number of units managed per person) and maximizing profitability per unit.
