POSITION OVERVIEW An established Las Vegas casino-resort operator is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead daily gaming and non-gaming revenue audit operations. This role is responsible for maintaining robust financial controls, managing revenue classification, producing the Daily Operating Report (DOR), and ensuring strict state gaming tax compliance.
The ideal candidate brings deep operational expertise in daily casino revenue audits, spanning Cage, Slots, Table Games, Race & Sports, Keno, and Kiosks alongside hotel and food & beverage revenue reconciliations. This role directly and indirectly manages a 14-person accounting and revenue audit team across the primary Las Vegas property and an additional regional affiliate property.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Approximately 2 to 3+ years of progressive casino accounting and revenue audit experience.
- Audit Depth: Hands-on experience with daily audits across gaming operations (Slots, Table Games, Cage, Race & Sports, Keno, Kiosks) and non-gaming outlets (Hotel, F&B, Entertainment).
- Systems Expertise: Proficiency with industry Casino Management Systems alongside Microsoft Office/Excel.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and motivate a multi-tiered team (Supervisors, Leads, Clerks).
- Licensing & Work Arrangement: Must be at least 21 years of age, eligible to obtain/maintain a Nevada Gaming Registration, and willing to work 100% on-site in Las Vegas.

Responsibilities
Directly supervise the Casino Accounting Supervisor and Revenue Audit Supervisor, while indirectly overseeing Lead Auditors and Clerks (14 total team members across two properties).
Evaluate and establish accounting procedures for new revenue-generating outlets or system updates.
Daily Revenue Audit & DOR Generation
- Review and verify daily audit recaps, including Table Games Master Game Worksheets, Slot drop and balance reports, Race & Sports recaps, and allocation schedules.
- Oversee the daily validation, summarization, and classification of all gaming and non-gaming operating revenue streams to publish the property Daily Operating Report (DOR) and post core journal entries.
- Audit non-gaming revenue feeds across hospitality divisions, including hotel, food & beverage outlets, and entertainment operations.
- Perform monthly journal entry reviews, adjusting entries, and statistical revenue reconciliations for Slots, Keno, Race & Sports, and hospitality departments.
- Reconcile Games Bankroll General Ledger accounts, counter checks, customer deposits, and credit/fill documentation.
- Process required gaming tax filings and execute payments/deposits for state gaming tax, wagering tax, withholding, foreign patron winnings, and pari-mutuel payouts.
- Calculate progressive jackpot accruals and maintain analytical estimates for progressive liability accounts.
- Manage Cage disbursement account checks and check request fulfillments.
