Serving as the key operational partner to commercial leadership, you will oversee rate quotes, lead account onboarding, audit shipping documentation, and deliver seamless client communication across ocean, air, and land freight operations. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Quote Coordination & Pricing: Gather shipment specs, request competitive carrier rates, and prepare freight proposals for commercial review and sign-off.
- Sales Pipeline Acceleration: Track active quotations, maintain pipeline visibility, and conduct follow-ups with clients to expedite rate acceptance and deal closure.
- Account Setup & Compliance: Coordinate client and vendor onboarding in the logistics management platform, collecting compliance records and liaising with Accounting for credit evaluation.
- Booking & Dispatch: Execute end-to-end bookings, generate routing instructions, and coordinate with carriers and dispatchers according to operational timelines.
- Proactive Milestone Tracking: Track shipment milestones (cut-offs, ETD, ETA, POD), anticipate transit exceptions, and resolve delays to protect delivery commitments.
- Documentation Integrity: Audit and verify critical shipping documentation (BOL, SI/SLI, MBL/MAWB, HBL/HAWB) to guarantee regulatory and customs compliance.
- bilingual Client Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries via phone and email in English and Spanish, delivering prompt issue resolution.
- Financial & Billing Liaison: Review vendor invoices, billing accuracy, and operational files with Accounting to ensure prompt invoicing.
