Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily packaging operations at our manufacturing and assembly facility in Miami, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing line operations, ensuring assembly quality, meeting demanding project deadlines, and maintaining strict safety standards across all contract and primary packaging activities.
- Oversee daily packaging line operations to ensure production schedules and customer deadlines are met.
- Supervise and coordinate production floor personnel, line workers, and temporary staffing.
- Monitor product quality across all lines to ensure adherence to customer specifications and industry standards.
- Train, onboard, and coach floor staff on packaging machinery operation, safety procedures, and quality checks.
- Coordinate workflow adjustments and line balancing to optimize overall productivity and minimize downtime.
- Maintain comprehensive daily logs of production output, labor hours, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
- Enforce strict OSHA guidelines, facility safety rules, and good manufacturing practices (GMP) on the floor.
- Partner with the Operations Manager and warehouse teams to verify raw material availability and inventory accuracy.
