- Lead Outbound Logistics & Dispatch: Direct skilled material handlers and forklift operators through staging, wrapping, and loading local fleet routes—ensuring 100% on-time, error-free morning dispatch.
- Keep Production Flowing Seamlessly: Drive plant replenishment by clearing finished corrugated and custom foam units from converting lines, staging next-day raw materials, and keeping manufacturing bays fully prepped for shift change.
- Streamline Cross-Dock Inbound: Take ownership of late-day freight and vendor drop-offs, ensuring swift receiving, accurate purchase order reconciliation, and systematic bin/rack put-away.
- Champion Inventory Integrity: Serve as the shift authority on WMS scan accuracy, fast variance resolution, and daily cycle counts for high-value packaging supplies.
- Own Floor Safety & Facility Shutdown: Set the standard for team safety, OSHA adherence, and PIT equipment maintenance—leading daily lockout/tagout checks and securing the entire facility at shift end.

Responsibilities
- Outbound Staging & Truck Loading: Overseeing material handlers and forklift operators to pick, wrap, stage, and load delivery trucks for morning dispatch.
- Production Line Clearing & Staging: Clearing finished goods (corrugated bundles, custom pallets, foam packaging) off converting/manufacturing equipment and staging raw materials for the morning shift.
- Inbound Cross-Dock & Receiving: Managing late-day freight deliveries, vendor PO check-ins, and proper rack/bin put-away.
- Inventory Control & End-of-Day Counts: Monitoring scan compliance (WMS/RF guns), resolving picking discrepancies, and cycle counting high-value materials.
- Facility Close & Security: Conducting end-of-shift equipment inspections (PIT battery charging), enforcing OSHA safety and lockout/tagout rules, and locking down the building at midnight.
