Key Responsibilities Process Monitoring: Perform daily process parameter verifications on casting machines and handle daily checks for various processes.
- Troubleshooting: Identify, track, and correct shot problems and X-ray void issues.
- Quality Control: Evaluate castings for defects or coating issues and train operators on corrective measures.
- Maintenance Support: Work closely with the maintenance team to correct machine issues and identify water flow corrections.
- Engineering Support: Assist with sample/PPAP runs and support Engineering trials through setup, data collection, and execution.
- Safety & Compliance: Maintain department 5S requirements and strictly comply with OSHA Safety Standards, including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements.
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Tools: Proficient in using hand tools and precision measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and height gages.
- Documentation: Ability to read prints, follow quality procedures, and complete detailed documentation.
- Software: Proficient in MS Office Suite with basic computer skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating across all levels of management.
- Self-starter with the initiative to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple concurrent projects.
Physical Tasks: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, kneel, and climb stairs/ladders.
- Schedule: Ability to work 3rd shift and overtime, including weekends as required.

Responsibilities
- Daily Checks - Process/Other
- Support sample/PPAP runs
- Support Engineering in trials regarding setup, data collection, tracking, and execution
- Daily Process Parameter Verification on Casting Machines
- Troubleshoot, track, and correct shot problems with support as needed
- Focus Cell Improvement Tasks
- Troubleshoot X-ray void issues at castings and support casting to correct
- Evaluate castings for defects/coating issues and support/train operators to correct.
- Identify water flows and direct the correction of
- Identify and work with maintenance to correct machine issues
- Make Tubes (as a backup)
- Other tasks as assigned by your supervisor and management
- Complies with the following OSHA Safety Standards: Hazard Communication; Bloodborne Pathogens; Lockout; Permit Required Confined Space; Hot Work Permit; Powered Industrial Trucks; P.P.E. and Ergonomics
- Ability to work overtime, including weekends as needed.
- Basic Computer skills.

- 3+ years applicable experience or equivalent education and experience
- Must have experience with troubleshooting mechanical/electrical equipment issues
- Intermediate mechanical and/or electrical basic problem solving
- Ability to operate small hand tools, inspection equipment, and common office equipment
