We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our maritime team in Miami, FL. This position offers a secure work environment and a comprehensive benefits package. salary: $77,000 - $80,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and overhaul port equipment such as harbor mobile cranes and reach stackers.
  
  
• Apply electrical theory to test and modify control equipment and circuitry.
  
  
• Test mechanical products after repair to ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  
  
• Dismantle and reassemble heavy equipment using hoists and specialized hand tools
  
  
• Operate boom and cable equipment to troubleshoot and evaluate repair completeness.
  
  
• Perform routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication of vehicles and equipment.
  
  
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and operating manuals for accurate repair.
  
  
• Inspect parts for damage or wear using precision tools like micrometers and gauges.
  
  
• Complete all required technical paperwork, including work reports and timesheets
  
  
• Mentor other department members and assume lead positions temporarily when necessary.
