Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Building Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on drywall, painting, doors, locks, and restrooms.
- Office Reconfigurations: Handle the installation, reconfiguration, and repair of modular workstations and office setups.
- Event Support: Responsible for the setup and teardown of corporate events.
- Aesthetics & Upkeep: Install interior artwork to keep our spaces looking professional.
- Cross-Site Assistance: Perform facilities tasks across Corporate offices, branches, and off-site locations, filling in for other facilities departments as needed.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Commercial office furniture (modular/case goods)
- Painting, plumbing, lighting maintenance, or rough/finish carpentry
- Floor and tile installation
- Event support
- Commercial office furniture (modular/case goods)
- Skills: Prior experience utilizing hand and power tools.
- Safety & Compliance: Solid understanding of OSHA-required PPE and bloodborne pathogens.
- License: A valid driver’s license is preferred, along with the ability to drive company vehicles. Some travel may be required.
- Attendance: Must have a record of regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 lbs. occasionally (30-60% of the time).
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, walk, and reach frequently.
- Ability to work comfortably in a moderate noise environment (corporate office), with occasional exposure to high noise levels and proximity to machinery when in the warehouse.
