Responsibilities
Inbound Bulk Operations (Rail & Tank Truck)
- Unload bulk raw materials safely per SOPs.
- Verify shipments (BOL, POs, COAs) and coordinate schedules with Procurement.
- Manage rail activity via BNSF portal to minimize demurrage.
- Coordinate sample approvals with the Lab and complete inventory transactions.
- Lead outbound tank truck loading operations.
- Operate, monitor, and maintain bulk loading/unloading equipment.
- Validate and load finished products per sales orders and safety protocols.
- Coordinate schedules, documentation, and transactions with Logistics/Production.
- Monitor tank levels and usage rates to support planning and prevent shortages.
- Enforce FIFO principles and support physical inventory counts.
- Follow health/safety protocols, wear PPE (including fall protection), and report issues.
- Inspect and clean tanks, piping, valves, containment areas, and equipment.
- Safely operate forklifts; support general warehouse duties as needed.
