Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Lead, train, and supervise the sanitation team
- Coordinate daily sanitation schedules and assign work
- Ensure compliance with GMPs, SSOPs, HACCP, and food safety standards
- Verify production equipment and facility are properly cleaned and sanitized
- Conduct pre-operational inspections and document findings
- Monitor proper chemical usage, dilution, and safety procedures
- Maintain sanitation logs, records, and audit documentation
- Partner with Production, QA, and Maintenance to support operations
- Investigate sanitation issues and implement corrective actions
- Promote a safe work environment and enforce company policies
- Support USDA/FDA inspections and third-party audits
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and employee training
- 2+ years of sanitation leadership experience in food manufacturing
- Knowledge of GMPs, SSOPs, HACCP, and sanitation procedures
- Experience with sanitation chemicals and food processing equipment
- strong leadership and communication skills
- bilingual English/Spanish required
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed
