About the Role A premier commercial print and packaging manufacturer in Minnetonka is hiring an Entry-Level Machine Operator to run a Lamina Mounter—a specialized piece of equipment that precision-binds large sheets together.
No previous experience on this machine? No problem—we will train you!
This role is ideal for anyone who is mechanically inclined, comfortable around heavy machinery, and enjoys working directly with a partner in a fast-paced environment.
Schedule & Training
- Hours: 2nd Shift, typically 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Training: First few weeks will take place on 1st Shift (Daytime) before transitioning to 2nd Shift.
- Overtime: Must be open to OT when production demands (earlier starts, staying late, or occasional weekends).
- Operate and feed the sheet-mounting equipment as part of an interdependent 2-person team.
- Perform quality checks to ensure proper sheet alignment, adhesion, and finish.
- Assist with basic routine maintenance and machine setup.
- Keep your station safe, clean, and stocked with materials.
- Mechanical Aptitude: You enjoy working with your hands, tinkering, or operating equipment. (Prior bindery, packaging, or factory experience is a plus!)
- Confidence with Machinery: You must be completely comfortable and fearless around active industrial equipment.
- Team-Oriented: Great attitude and communication skills—this machine takes 2 people working in sync to run smoothly.
- Reliability: Punctual, dependable, and ready to work OT when needed.
- Physical Readiness: Comfortable standing for long periods and regularly lifting materials.
