Responsibilities
Receiving:
- Inspect incoming deliveries for damage, verify item quantities against purchase orders, and record received stock in our ERP/inventory system.
- Handle sensitive electronic components according to ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) and humidity control guidelines.
- Unpack, label, and route incoming parts to proper bin locations or production departments.
- Report any discrepancies, damaged goods, or vendor shipping errors to procurement immediately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare finished electronic products and parts for shipment according to customer orders and safety protocols.
- Select appropriate packaging materials (anti-static bags, bubble wrap, custom foam inserts) to prevent freight damage.
- Generate shipping labels, packing slips, customs documentation, and bills of lading (BOLs) using major carrier software (FedEx, UPS, DHL, LTL freight).
- Schedule carrier pickups and coordinate dock deliveries.
