In this critical frontline role, you will guide welding personnel, oversee the assembly of heavy-duty transit structures, and ensure operational excellence across our department.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Operations: Assign daily tasks, set priorities, and monitor progress to meet production schedules.
- Coaching: Onboard, train, and mentor team members on welding techniques and safety protocols.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct initial weld inspections before formal QA to ensure blueprint compliance.
- Communication: Partner with supervisors and adjacent teams to quickly resolve production issues.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to blueprints, WPS guidelines, and safe material handling.
- Welding Experience: 4–7+ years in manufacturing or industrial fabrication.
- Leadership: 1–2+ years as a lead or supervisor in a production environment.
- Technical Skills: strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and WPS documentation.
- Core Competencies: Proven mentoring skills, strong problem-solving, and strict focus on safety/quality.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; trade certifications preferred.
