Responsibilities
Receiving & Inbound Logistics
- Unload incoming shipments safely using material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).
- Inspect shipments for missing, incorrect, or damaged goods; report discrepancies.
- Compare incoming stock against purchase orders or packing slips.
- Input received inventory into the Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld RF scanners.
- Accurately pick products according to customer orders or pick lists.
- Pack goods using appropriate packing materials, securing items to prevent damage.
- Print and apply shipping labels, packing slips, and barcodes.
- Stage packages in designated shipping zones for courier pickup.
- Conduct routine cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventory audits.
- Organize warehouse shelving, racks, and bins to maximize storage capacity.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or expired stock.
- Operate machinery (forklifts, order pickers, pallet jacks) in strict accordance with OSHA guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area by sweeping aisles, disposing of debris, and baling cardboard.
- Report safety hazards, damaged equipment, or incidents immediately.
