About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and self-directed Class A Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you won't just be pushing buttons—you will own the machining process from start to finish. You will be responsible for set up, operation, troubleshooting complex machining issues, and performing full quality inspections on close-tolerance, high-precision components. Required Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a CNC/Manual Machinist handling complex setups and low-to-medium volume, tight-tolerance manufacturing.
  
  
• Blueprint Reading & GD&T: Expert ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, standard shop math, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T per ASME Y14.5)

Responsibilities

• Setup & Operation: Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, GD&T callouts, and process sheets. Independently perform setups on CNC [Lathes / Mills / 5-Axis / Swiss] machines, including setting up tooling, workholding, zero points, and fixtures.
  
  
• Process Troubleshooting: Analyze and resolve machining issues (e.g., tool wear, thermal expansion, chatter, material inconsistencies, G-code/M-code errors) directly at the controller to optimize cycle time and part finish.
  
  
• In-Process & Final Inspection: Perform full precision inspections using micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, optical comparators, and CMMs to hold tight tolerances down to $\pm 0.0002"$.
