Job Description: Position Overview The Problem Solver is a critical member of the logistics team, stepping in immediately when operational disruptions or data mismatches arise during the picking, packing, or shipping phases of order fulfillment. The core mission of this role is to identify, analyze, and resolve anomalies efficiently to maintain fluid warehouse operations, preserve inventory integrity, and guarantee customer satisfaction. Main Activities & Responsibilities Problem Identification and Analysis Detect errors in outgoing and incoming orders (e.g., missing products, labeling errors, damaged packaging). Verify the physical conformity of items against digital customer orders and system specifications. Investigate system-generated anomalies reported by RF scanners or flagged manually by warehouse personnel. Resolution of Anomalies Correct shipping, routing, and storage configuration errors on the floor. Physically redirect misplaced or missorted items to their appropriate locations. Apply standard operating procedures to ensure accurate tracking and system updates for any products placed in anomaly status. Operational Team Support Assist Pickers, Packers, and Ship Dock Operators in real-time with any system or inventory obstacles. Train and coach employees on best practices to reduce recurring errors and discrepancies. Collaborate closely with shift supervisors and quality assurance teams to proactively improve localized processes. Inventory and Logistics Flow Management Ensure that products are properly registered, reconciled, and physically stored in inventory. Scan items and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to reflect real-time inventory adjustments. Document and report recurring abnormalities to management so systemic corrective actions can be initiated. Professional Relationships Internal: Site Administrative Assistant, Operations Team Leaders, Supervisors, Operations Managers, Truck Drivers. External: Customers (current and potential), Suppliers / Vendors. Requirements & Qualifications Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent practical experience. Experience: 1 to 2 years of professional experience in a similar logistics, inventory control, or problem-solving function within a fast-paced warehouse environment. Permits & Authorizations: Safety fitness certificates or equipment operating licenses as required by local regulations and facility guidelines.
