Job Description: Role Overview

Acts as the central link between office operations, the warehouse floor, and external freight carriers. This hybrid role balances freight scheduling, carrier coordination, and inventory tracking with hands-on floor support during peak operational volume.

Key Responsibilities
Transportation & Dispatch: Build, route, and schedule TL/LTL shipments using TMS/WMS software (SAP, Blue Yonder, RedPrairie). Coordinate directly with drivers and carriers to resolve dock delays, check-in issues, and missing paperwork.

Inventory & Recordkeeping: Audit shipping/receiving documents (BOLs), conduct physical inventory checks, and maintain daily tracking logs using intermediate MS Excel and Outlook.

Customer Resolution: Track order statuses, address delivery escalations, issue approved billing/credit adjustments, and communicate timely updates to external clients.

Floor Operations: Assist with receiving, order picking, packing, and fulfillment as needed. Operate or train to operate warehouse equipment (reach truck, order picker).
