We are seeking an IT Contingent Operations Specialist to join our team! This individual will coach, train, and assist hiring managers and vendor suppliers on standard operating procedures while managing our vendor management and applicant tracking systems. The ideal candidate provides outstanding customer service, demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, and excels at building strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

responsibilities:
Manage the requisition process for contingent workers using the VNDLY vendor management system.
Partner closely with hiring managers to gain a clear understanding of position requirements and effectively translate those needs to preferred suppliers.
Assist hiring managers through the candidate selection and onboarding processes. Provide ongoing operational support, including timesheet management, performance discussions with suppliers, and contractor requests.
Maintain and update all standard operating procedures for contingent workers, suppliers, and hiring managers.
Oversee supplier performance and candidate quality using a quarterly scorecard process, performance improvement plans (PIPs), and supplier optimization strategies.
Generate supplier scorecards, quarterly performance metrics, and regular reporting requests through the VNDLY vendor management system.
Manage the VNDLY system ticket management process, including resolving system defects, tracking enhancement requests, and user support.
Act as the primary point of contact for escalated issues from contractors, managers, and vendors.
Stay current with federal, state, and local laws and regulations concerning the contingent workforce.
Help develop and implement marketing materials (print, digital, graphic, and textual) to build program brand awareness for internal stakeholders and external vendors.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of related experience; OR an advanced degree; OR equivalent work experience.
Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the contingent workforce domain (staffing agency, corporate recruiting environment, or managed service provider).
Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and vendor management systems (VMS), with prior experience in VNDLY strongly preferred.
Certified Contingent Workforce Professional (CCWP) designation is a plus.
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with a high level of interpersonal capability.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Strong change management, process management, and negotiation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
Proven reporting and analytical skills used to evaluate data and drive process improvements.
