job summary: Industry leading building products manufacturer is looking for a District Sales Manager in the San Francicso area. The ideal candidate will possess outside sales experience within the building products industry with a focus calling on dealers within the San Francisco Bay area. This role comes with a very competitive compensation plan with the opportunity to earn up to $130k (base salary + commission), company vehicle, company credit card, gas card etc. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. location: San Francisco, California job type: Permanent salary: $100,000 - 130,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: No Degree Required responsibilities: -Promotes products to regional dealer accounts. -Achieves maximum sales and increases market penetration of the company brand using the overall strategy of the brand. -Develops sales territory with the right product mix to meet annual strategic goals. -Assesses potential new dealers that can support required sales volume at a proper market price. -Promotes sales growth and business opportunities for all dealers. -Works with dealers to create annual strategic business plans to maintain proper product mix levels and overall achievement of improving the dealer sales objectives. -Develops and implements regional sales plans to achieve or surpass sales goals. -Continuously evaluates all dealer accounts in order to expand and upgrade account base. -Contacts potential dealers/channel partners and identifies new business opportunities. -Effectively develops and plans weekly dealer sales calls - providing up-to-date Qlik reports deemed beneficial to the success of both dealer and company. -Analyzes dealer sales performance and recommends improvements, utilizing Qlik reports. Works with all dealers within territories to advise them of various products and product solutions. Marketing Provides business counsel and marketing advice to dealers. Stays current with dealer needs, market trends and competitors. Develops promotional programs to increase sales and revenue. Safeguards the brand by reviewing online reviews/social media and upholding dealers to highest standard of ethics and commitment to service. Collaborates/partners with the Marketing Manager to coordinate MARCOMM and Offer-Management activities and objectives/goals for effectively achieving targets in all areas. Manage, approve and submit sample and literature requests for dealer accounts within territory. Promotes products through sales aids and miscellaneous items. Manages expense accounts for literature, samples, wearables, communications and travel/entertainment to budgeted levels. Technical Support Literate using a computer, tablets, mobile devices and learns new software programs. Ability to operate, transfer, share all electronic forms, documents and presentations provided to dealers (product order forms, price books, premium features, etc.) as well as instruct and answer questions regarding electronic documents. Maintain a personal library of all updated electronic forms, documents and presentations. Ability to use and train proper use of E-Status - electronic order status information system. Executive Support Advises the RSM and VP of Sales of all major market developments in their region that affect sales and/or personnel. Submits all reports required by the RSM and VP of Sales in a timely manner. Assists and implements an annual sales and expense budget for assigned region(s). Attends and participate in sales meetings with an open and innovative demeanor; strives to continually improve the Organization's success.
