Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled Pipefitter to join our commercial construction team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end installation of high-pressure piping systems, ensuring all mechanical infrastructure is built to spec, on time, and in full compliance with safety codes. Key Responsibilities: Layout & Planning: Interpret isometric blueprints to map out pipe runs and calculate complex offsets to navigate structural obstacles. Fabrication: Measure, cut, and thread pipe materials, and perform high-quality joining via welding, brazing, or bolting. System Assembly: Install and align heavy industrial components including pumps, chillers, boilers, and heat exchangers. Quality Control: Execute hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests to verify system integrity and leak-proof performance. Safety Leadership: Manage heavy rigging operations and maintain strict adherence to OSHA, LOTO, and Hot Work permit protocols. salary: $43,680 - $54,080 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 6 AM - 6 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilities Blueprint Analysis: Interprets mechanical drawings and isometric blueprints to determine the precise layout and routing of high-pressure piping systems through structural frames. Component Assembly: Joins pipe sections and installs industrial components like pumps, boilers, and valves using specialized welding, brazing, or bolting techniques. Pressure Integrity Testing: Conducts hydrostatic and pneumatic tests by pressurizing systems with water or air to ensure every joint is leak-proof and compliant with building codes. Rigging and Safety: Coordinates the heavy rigging and hoisting of large pipe spools while adhering to strict OSHA safety protocols and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
