Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and versatile Membership & Billing Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be the engine behind our account maintenance, ensuring that billing, reconciliation, and customer service activities run seamlessly. You will handle everything from complex database research and contract administration to high-level interaction with purchaser benefit administrators. Whether you are reconciling payment discrepancies or ensuring their members receive their ID cards on time, your work directly impacts the accuracy of their records and the satisfaction of their members. To thrive in this role, you should possess a mix of analytical rigor and strong communication skills. Experience: Minimum of 2 years in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred). Technical Skills: Proficiency in math, data entry, typing, and grammar (testing required). strong PC/Windows experience is essential. Problem Solving: Proven ability to diagnose and solve complex quantitative and qualitative problems. Adaptability: A willing learner who can shift priorities quickly and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Interpersonal Skills: Excellent conflict resolution, decision-making capabilities, and a successful track record in customer service. Resolve payment discrepancies and delinquencies. Data Management: Set up and maintain member data, including processing enrollments, terminations, and retroactivity adjustments. Customer & Sales Support: Act as a key point of contact for purchaser benefit administrators and sales reps to explain contractual provisions, resolve problems, and support the sales process. Operational Excellence: Ensure bills are mailed accurately and timely. Participate in performance evaluations and help set performance targets. Administrative Oversight: Manage document imaging (scanning/indexing), office services (mail/supplies), and facility maintenance tasks as needed.
