Expertise in electrical troubleshooting, running conduit/circuits, and reading PLC ladder logic. Proficiency reading blueprints, electrical schematics, and using precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators). Experience utilizing CMMS software to manage maintenance tasks and workflow. Equipment Reliability & Troubleshooting: Perform expert-level corrective and preventive maintenance across high-speed food processing equipment, including industrial mixers, tortilla ovens, commercial fryers, high-pressure processing (HPP) systems, filling machinery, and packaging lines. Electrical & PLC Controls: Run new electrical circuits, relocate power distribution, and perform hands-on diagnostic troubleshooting on automation controls and PLCs. Preventive Maintenance & CMMS: Oversee scheduled PM programs (lubrication, filter replacements, drive alignment) and track work orders, parts inventory, and maintenance logs using CMMS software. Vendor & Facility Management: Direct third-party contractors and equipment manufacturer representatives during major installations or specialized overhauls. Oversee shop organization, tool security, and plant infrastructure repairs.
