A leading industrial manufacturing firm is seeking an accomplished and strategic Plant General Manager to take full accountability for all daily operations. Oversee purchasing to verify, review, and maintain materials and production inventories. Operational Direction: Plan, organize, and direct operations across all functional departments, including Production, Fabrication, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Customer Service. Front-Line Management: Act as the direct Front-Line Manager for Fabrication and Assembly Departments, ensuring performance metrics are achieved. Talent Strategy: Partner with Human Resources to develop talent, provide timely performance evaluations, and ensure the motivation and retention of a high-performance workforce Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement by emphasizing utilization of Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S+) to lead cost improvement analysis and implement actionable, measurable plans. KPI Management: Establish and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost, acting with analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure targets are met. Safety Culture: Champion a workplace focused on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to drive a zero-incident safety culture through routine safety walks and focused leadership.
