Preparing and analyzing corporate financial statements. Managing the year-end review process and leading audit preparation with external CPAs. Assisting with month-end close procedures and corporate expense allocations. Maintaining fixed asset files and posting monthly depreciation. Preparing monthly note and loan payments and distribution statements for partners. Reviewing and analyzing monthly ending inventories. Preparing quarterly debt schedules for management analysis. Must-Have Skills & Experience: A deep understanding of the full accounting cycle and how the B/S, P&L, and Cash Flow statements interconnect. The ability to see trends in data, research an anomaly, find the answer, and solve the problem independently. Proven experience managing year-end review and preparing for audits with CPAs. Technical Skills: "Huge" proficiency in Excel is required; Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs are essential. Experience with ERP systems (ideally Sage 100) is highly desired.
