The FP&A Manager will play a key role in Firmwide Budgeting, Forecasting, and Management Reporting across the organization. A central focus of this role is leading the implementation and ongoing optimization of Workday Adaptive Planning, including building budgeting and forecasting capabilities, financial reporting infrastructure, and planning models within the system. The position will work closely with Senior Managers and collaborate with the FP&A Director to deliver timely, accurate financial insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. The ideal candidate will bring an in-depth understanding of the budgeting and forecasting processes specific to professional services firms, along with hands-on experience building financial models, cash forecasts, and long-range plans. Required Qualifications CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred. 5+ years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, for professional services. Functional understanding of Workday Adaptive Planning — ability to define model requirements, validate outputs, and work effectively with implementation teams; hands-on system configuration experience is not required. Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling concepts, with specific exposure to professional services firm planning processes. Experience building cash forecasting models and multi-year (5-year) strategic financial plans. Proven ability to prepare management-ready financial presentations for the FP&A Director and Senior Leadership. In-depth knowledge of financial statements, key performance metrics, and variance analysis. Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial reporting, BI, or data visualization tools is a plus. Drive the Annual Budget, Quarterly Forecast, and Long-Range Planning processes, including variance analysis, performance tracking, and assumption validation across all business units. Build and maintain robust financial models, cash flow forecasts, and a 5-year strategic plan to support both near-term operational needs and long-term strategic direction.
