As a Laboratory Technician, you will play a vital role in the product lifecycle by managing stability testing and analytical routines. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging scientist to gain hands-on experience in a GMP/GLP environment, working with sophisticated instrumentation and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that keep our laboratory at the forefront of food science technology. RESPONSIBILITIES Analytical Operations: Plan, organize, and perform laboratory duties under the guidance of the Lab Manager, ensuring all analyses meet strict performance metrics and due dates. Stability Coordination: Manage the end-to-end stability sample process, including organizing schedules, processing incoming samples, and executing analysis requests. Quality & Compliance: Maintain rigorous adherence to facility policies regarding safety, security, Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Equipment & Inventory: Document the operation and verification of laboratory equipment; maintain inventory levels of consumables to ensure seamless daily operations. External Network Support: Coordinate with 3rd party laboratory networks for sample shipping and reporting as required. Continuous Improvement: Develop and execute action plans to support laboratory efficiency and optimization routines. Scientific Collaboration: Partner closely with Laboratory Scientists to complete complex project objectives and provide productive feedback within a team environment. qualifications: Required: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Technical Skills: Demonstrated proficiency with digital tools and software, including Microsoft Office, LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems), and SAP. Preferred: Education: Undergraduate degree in a related science (e.g., Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology). Experience: 1 year of practical experience in an analytical laboratory or relevant academic coursework. Technical Focus: Strong preference for candidates with a Chemistry background and exposure to analytical techniques (e.g., titration, pH, or chromatography). Mindset: High level of initiative, a focus on results, and a proven ability to build effective professional relationships.
