Drive Compliance: Serve as the final approver for all payrolls, meticulously reviewing reports, reconciliations, and time records to ensure strict adherence to all FLSA guidelines, government regulations, and internal policies. Manage Complex Compensation: Accurately compute and manage all forms of employee compensation, including wage rates, commissions, benefit deductions (e.g., 401k, insurance), and tax documentation (W-2s, etc.). Be the Go-To Resource: Proactively provide direction, guidance, and training to managers and employees on payroll procedures, policies, and related inquiries. Ensure Accuracy: Systematically review and update personnel records, including managing new hire data and processing changes in pay rates, occupations, and deductions (including garnishments). Partner with HR: Work closely with the Human Resources team to align payroll processing with key employee transitions, including new employee onboarding, promotions, and annual open enrollment.
