JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Technican is a key member of the plant operations team responsible for repairing and maintaining manufacturing, packaging, material handling, and process equipment. This role supports continuous improvement initiatives, ensures equipment uptime, and contributes to a safe and efficient production environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Repair and maintain manual and automated equipment with minimal supervision. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Use MMS (SAP or other) systems for maintenance records and inventory management. Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement projects. Lead or support small projects and equipment upgrades. Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards. Collaborate with production teams and external vendors/contractors. Track performance metrics such as uptime, downtime, and mean time to failure. Maintain housekeeping standards and complete required documentation. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/TECHNICAL SKILLS/BEHAVIORAL SKILLS: High school diploma with continuing education or certifications in industrial maintenance. 3-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Be able to troubleshooting skills in electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. PLC knowledge/experience (Allen Bradley / Siemens). Willingness to work off shifts and overtime. Familiarity with maintenance performance metrics.
