The Opportunity We are seeking a high-caliber Senior Cost Accountant for a critical, high-visibility role supporting a sophisticated manufacturing and plasma operations environment. This is a Temp-to-Perm engagement (3-4 months) designed for a professional who thrives in technical ERP environments and enjoys the "story" behind the numbers. Role Specifications Pay Rate: $50.00 – $52.00/hr (commensurate with experience) Location: 100% Onsite in Boca Raton, FL (No hybrid/remote options) Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM Key Responsibilities Costing & SAP Management: Develop costing methodologies and maintain standard costs for manufacturing operations. Act as a power user for SAP-related systems to design and optimize financial reporting. Variance Analysis: Scrutinize significant manufacturing variances (Material, Labor, Overhead). Identify root causes of fluctuations and present findings to management. Fixed Assets & CAPEX: Maintain fixed asset registers and lead the monthly tracking of new capital projects and Construction-In-Progress (CIP). Financial Reporting: Lead month-end close activities, including complex balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, and analysis of prepaids, accruals, and donor fees. Budgeting & Forecasting: Partner with department leaders to develop annual operating/capital budgets and monthly forecasts. Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance and prepare schedules for external auditors during interim and year-end reviews. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required. Experience: Minimum 5 years of professional accounting experience specifically within a Manufacturing environment. Technical Stack: Advanced proficiency in Tier I ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred). Must be an expert in Excel. Certifications: CPA or CMA is a significant plus.
