We are searching for a Tool and Die Maker who will be responsible for schedule processes, fits, assembles, and finishes metal parts to make and repair stamping dies by performing the following duties. salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 4 PMeducation: High SchoolResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES Studies blueprints of product, die and die models, templates, and prototype parts and visualizes shape, mechanical structure, and operation of die Computes dimensions, plans machining, layout, and assembly operations Develops and coordinates build schedule to meet established timelines Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, milling machine, radial drill press, shaper, and grinder, to machine parts to specifications, and verifies conformance of machined parts to specifications Verifies dimensions, clearances, and alignment of members and parts in die Fits and assembles mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components into tooling as required Measures, marks, and scribes metal stock for machining by other workers Precisely captures information to complete work accurately; Ensures that information is always reviewed; Focuses on smaller elements and finer points of material or processes PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3+ years related experience in a metal manufacturing environment preferred Understand and read and blueprints.
