In this role, your responsibility is to repair dies to specifications. Some of what you will be doing: 1. Read engineering drawings of average complexity. 2. Build and/or repair tools from those drawings using the necessary machining operations and equipment. 3. Troubleshoot and make decisions on tool manufacturing procedures in conjunction with the group leader or manager and press supervisors. 4. Maintain in-process Quality Control procedures and documentation. 5. Assist in trying out tools and optimizing to achieve Quality Control accepted parts. 6. Housekeeping and 5S in and around machinery. 7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
