Seeking Master-Level Tooling & Repair Technician Are you a seasoned mold maker who thrives on precision? We are looking for a highly skilled Tool/Mold Repair Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair complex plastic injection molds. This is a senior-level role for a true craftsman. You will be responsible for keeping our production tools in optimal operating condition, implementing minor engineering changes, and collaborating with engineering teams on root-cause problem-solving. If you have a deep background in plastics tooling or injection molding, experience on CNC Mill and EDM, and a fully stocked toolbox (bring your own tools!), we want you on our team.What You’ll Do: Tool Maintenance & Repair: Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot tooling issues, and execution of minor engineering changes to optimize mold performance. Machining & Fabrication: Utilize CNC, EDM, mills, and other standard machining equipment to repair or modify mold components. Heavy Lifting Logistics: Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move, flip, and set large injection molds. Collaboration & Analytics: Partner with Process and Plant Engineers to implement process improvements and participate in formal root-cause analysis (8Ds). Documentation & Inventory: Maintain meticulous records of all tool repairs/changes and ensure proper inventory levels of critical replacement components. Safety & Housekeeping: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and maintain an immaculate, organized work area. Requirements: Note: This is an advanced role requiring mastery of the trade.
