Responsibilities
- Full-Cycle Closing Management: Lead the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes. This includes preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
- Revenue Recognition (ASC 606): Oversee revenue accounting for multi-element cloud subscription contracts. Ensure compliance with GAAP, manage deferred revenue schedules, and collaborate with Sales Ops on contract reviews.
- Accounts Receivable & Billing: Manage the end-to-end AR lifecycle, from subscription billing cycles and collections to credit memos and bad debt analysis.
- Audit & Compliance: Act as a primary point of contact for external auditors. Prepare work papers and ensure internal controls (SOX compliance) are robust and followed.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the "Record-to-Report" cycle and implement automation tools to streamline billing and reconciliation tasks.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

- 3-5 years of accounting experience in public accounting, ideally work with clients that is within the SaaS or cloud technology sector.
- Deep understanding of ASC 606 and GAAP standards is essential.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite) and billing automation platforms.
- A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses a keen eye for detail, and can translate complex data into actionable variance analysis.
