Our client, a leader in the entertainment industry is looking for an electrical design engineer. Key qualifications include, Five or more years of design experience as a Designer or degreed Engineer in a design environment working in a multi-discipline, technical, electrical design team setting. Demonstrated AutoCAD Electrical and Eplan experience (professional training and/or certification) in both modeling and drawing creation; minimum of five (5) years' experience. Two (2) or more years of college (electrical/mechanical engineering or engineering technology courses), preferably with an Associate's or higher-level degree, or equivalent work experience is required.

responsibilities:
- Electrical & Controls Design Execution: Develops CAD layouts and detailed production design packages for theme park electrical, PLC, safety, power distribution, and control systems.
- Cross-Functional & Vendor Coordination: Collaborates closely with Engineering, vendors, and fabrication shops to review design packages, manage planning, and support projects from concept through installation and testing.
- Compliance & Data Archival: Ensures all control system drawings meet industry codes, internal Disney standards, and state ride laws (CA/FL), while managing proper documentation and archival in the EDMS.
- Project & Research Leadership: Independently manages fast-paced projects, researches historical data and technical solutions, and conducts thorough design reviews to solve complex engineering challenges.
- Continuous Innovation & Skill Growth: Stays current on emerging technologies, new software, and industry best practices to improve safety, lower costs, and enhance overall system quality.
