responsibilities:
- Oversee project sourcing and procurement strategies for complex, high-value electrical equipment and services supporting major capital expansion projects.
- Lead proposal solicitations (RFx), bid evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contract execution while managing supplier performance and relationships.
- Collaborate with internal SCM business partners and project management teams to develop materials strategies and early market commitment plans.
- Monitor SCM planning, forecasting, and risk mitigation while ensuring strict compliance with enterprise governance, legal, and quality standards.
qualifications:
University degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (SCMP/CPSM designation or MBA is an asset).
Minimum of 7 years of SCM experience, with demonstrated expertise purchasing complex electrical equipment for large energy industry projects.
Proven ability to negotiate complex commercial contracts, execute RFx processes, and utilize ERP systems such as Oracle R12 or Cloud.
