This role is designed for a commercial litigator who excels in end-to-end case management and seeks the autonomy of an in-house setting over the traditional law firm structure. Working directly with senior legal leadership, you will drive litigation and discovery strategy while navigating the fast-paced demands of a modern, business-embedded legal departmentsalary: $150,000 - $160,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5 PMeducation: BachelorsResponsibilities Execute commercial and contractual legal strategies from initial filing through final resolution. Independently lead the discovery process, managing interrogatories, RFPs, and deposition logistics with strategic oversight. Architect litigation theories focused on quantifying and proving complex financial damages and breaches of contract. Produce high-stakes demand letters, pleadings, and motions for both court and arbitration proceedings. Serve as a cross-functional legal partner to Finance, IT, and Operations, translating legal risk into actionable business advice. Mentor and direct paralegal workflows, specifically managing high-volume subpoena responses. Facilitate routine negotiations and contract reviews to ensure organizational agility.
