Assist with recruiting activities — review applications, schedule interviews, conduct reference checks, and sit in on interviews with the HR Manager. Maintain employee data and records within the HR system, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Support employee onboarding, training coordination, and documentation. Prepare and maintain reports related to personnel activities, such as new hires, transfers, and terminations. Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, and labor regulations to employees and management. Assist in compliance efforts with federal, state, and local employment laws, including EEO and ADA requirements. Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the HR and administrative functions.
