APPLY TODAY! location: Baltimore, Maryland job type: Contract salary: $36 - 38 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Ensure compliance with all engineering, material, and process specifications for carbon fiber composite manufacturing.Lead the technical introduction of new products (NPI), ensuring designs meet manufacturability (DfM) and production requirements.Design, validate, and manage tooling concepts using modeling software, and define production methodology, especially for automated manufacturing cells.Drive efficiency and cost reduction by developing cost models, analyzing ROI, and implementing Cost-Out initiatives.Troubleshoot complex engineering issues that negatively impact part quality, cost, or final function.Develop key engineering metrics focused on productivity, quality, and part flow.Create and maintain all necessary engineering documentation, including operator manufacturing procedures, training manuals, and production planning.Act as an effective technical liaison between manufacturing, quality, design engineering, and other functional groups.
