job summary: A Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer is needed for a leading manufacturing organization outside of Greensboro, NC. The Production Engineer will support the specification, procurement, validation, and installation of equipment for manufacturing lines within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will play a critical part in launching new equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and production readiness. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment and a deep understanding of electrical controls, along with the ability to read and modify technical drawings. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a minimum of 8+ years of equivalent technical experience is required, with a proven track record in capital project execution and production preparation. Proficiency in AutoCAD and project scheduling tools is essential. This role also requires flexibility to support occasional weekend work and plant shutdown periods, including July and December holidays.
