Core duties typically include: Production Planning & Execution: Overseeing the entire manufacturing process and managing the production team. Developing and implementing production schedules to meet deadlines and targets (quality and quantity). Organizing the workflow and monitoring performance to resolve issues promptly. Quality & Efficiency: Enforcing the company's "Gold Standard Quality Assurance Program." Implementing and driving Lean manufacturing principles for continuous improvement, waste elimination, and optimized productivity. Resource Management: Managing the production budget, estimating costs, and determining resource requirements (workforce, materials). Overseeing the purchasing of materials and the maintenance of equipment. Leadership & Safety: Supervising and evaluating production staff, including providing training and mentorship.
